THE DOMAINE & THE STORY
The Chapuy family have been producing wines in the Champagne region since the French Revolution. With strong ancestral ties to their home village of Oger, they are direct decedents of the village’s first ever elected mayor post French Revolution. Although the family has been involved in winemaking for centuries, the Chapuy namesake became an official brand in 1952 to commercialize their champagne production under the leadership of Serge Chapuy. The village of Oger in the Cote Des Blancs region is home to Champagne GDD Chapuy's independent family owned vineyards. The easterly facing slopes of the Côte des Blancs produce what is widely renowned as the finest chardonnay grapes in the entire Champagne region. These unique characteristics give birth to distinctively delicate and elegant Champagne cuvées.
